UTAH SUMMER SPECIAL OLYMPICS

I was in the state Special Olympics. I played soccer for the BYU Cougars. Our team had never played against another team before the Olympics. We lost all 5 games. But that's OK. We still got a ribbon. We are probably the nicest soccer team on the planet because whenever the ball was on our side, we would always stop and watch while the other team scored. One coach took his goalie off the field after a while so we'd be able to score too. Wasn't that nice!?

The Opening Ceremonies were so cool. And I loved having so many people come and watch me. I got to kick the ball once or twice every game, if the ball came to me. Some of the guys on the teams we played against were huge.

Mom says I was always smiling as I chased that ball up and down the field.

WOMEN'S CONFERENCE

We went to Women's Conference at BYU. We got to see Elder Oaks and his wife speak and heard Kathy Clayton speak. She is very nice to me and gave me root beer in Argentina.

PATRICE IS NEVADA MOTHER OF THE YEAR

We drove to Las Vegas to see Parice honored as the Nevada Mother of the Year. We are so proud of her. We got to stay at Judy's house, yeah!

CLAIRE'S SHOWER

RICH'S GRADUATION

Rich graduated. After we went to dinner at the Chef's Table. Grandpa and Grandma Pope were at the graduation too, but we didn't get a picture of them. Andrew came from Minnesota too! I love my brothers.

Las Vegas Again/Cameron's Baby Blessing

We got to go to Las Vegas again to see Cameron blessed. Isn't he cute? Look at D-dad and Jackson and Lexi. Can you guess which one is faking being asleep? Number 24 is pretty cute! He's pretty lucky to have an aunt like me.

My Life is Good

I love being and aunt. Mom and I get to be with Abby on Thursdays, because Mom tends her. I love her so much. And Jane came down to visit us with Anna, Q, and Brooke, and we had a lot of fun. We played musical instruments at our home, and then met Brooke, Richie, Maddie, Matthew, and Noel, and D-Dad at Jumping Jacks to play.

A New Pace-maker

I was pretty excited to have my surgery as you probably know. I wish they would have let me stay longer, but that's OK. I was so brave when the nurse put in the IV. She was a little worried, but I wasn't. I held out my arm to her and said, "I love it. I'm going to watch." Mom and I had to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. By 9:30 a.m. I was done with the surgery. I was kind of sleepy, but when I saw Mom, I made myself wake up, and I talked all morning till they sent me home at 12:30p.m. I wouldn't take a nap or much of a nap when I got home, but Mom did. But at dinner I was soooo tired, so I went right to bed and slept till 11:00 the next day. I have a new pace maker, and I can run even better now, which is great because I'm in training for the Spring Special Olympics.

CAMERON JEFFREY LUSZECK

Cameron is so cute! I got to go to Las Vegas with Mom to help Judy. I got to hold him a lot and play with Lexi and Jackson. Mom did a lot of cooking and cleaning.

I'M TWENTY FOUR!

We had a fun birthday party at our new home. First we went tubing at Jolley's Ranch, and then we had yummy soup and pink birthday cake.

Then we had another party at Judy's house. Thanks for the cards, emails, phone calls, and presents, and for coming to my party. I love you!

BEST BUDDIES BALL

I went with my friend Jennica to the Best Buddies Ball. I danced with Mike a lot. He has a crush on me.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS BOWLING!

All I wanted for Christmas was a PINK BOWLING BALL. Yeah! Wonder where I got that idea. It was just in time for the Special Olympics last Saturday. The Thursday before the meet, I bowled 101! At the meet, I bowled in the 50's. That's OK because I got a spare. I did it! And I got a white ribbon.

A THREE DAY TRIP TO PARIS!!!

It's not my fault that I'm spoiled. England, France. What's next? We rode on a train under the ocean to get to Paris. I love trains. I wish you could have been there.

Another Museum, Food, and a Boat Ride

If you ask me if I like museums, I'll say, "Yes", but only if they have chairs so I can sit. And some of the ladies in the pictures need some privacy. I saw a first aid cross on the map and asked to go there to get help for my hurting legs. Mom and Dad had to bribe me a few times to keep walking during our stay in Paris. Yummy pastries and dinner at restaurants and a my favorite--the boat ride helped a lot.

The Louvre

I think that this might be the biggest museum I've ever been in. I was soooooo tired. So was Mom. We had gotten up really early, walked all day, and D-dad had to find us a quite, dark place to rest (it was a silent movie theatre in the museum with a lot of old people) before Mom fell apart. My legs hurt.
