I was in the state Special Olympics. I played soccer for the BYU Cougars. Our team had never played against another team before the Olympics. We lost all 5 games. But that's OK. We still got a ribbon. We are probably the nicest soccer team on the planet because whenever the ball was on our side, we would always stop and watch while the other team scored. One coach took his goalie off the field after a while so we'd be able to score too. Wasn't that nice!?The Opening Ceremonies were so cool. And I loved having so many people come and watch me. I got to kick the ball once or twice every game, if the ball came to me. Some of the guys on the teams we played against were huge.
Mom says I was always smiling as I chased that ball up and down the field.
